Mid-century Modern Walnut Veneer Chest of Drawers

Moving overseas at the end of the year, so I’m sorting through my stuff and letting go of a few pieces I’ve loved over the years. This chest is one of them — a solid mid-century style piece made from walnut veneer with a smooth, matt finish. The fluted sides and rounded corners give it that classic modern feel, and the brass handles add a touch of elegance without being flashy.

It’s got four spacious drawers with smooth sliding action — all work well and feel great to use. The top surface is in excellent condition, no water stains or wear, just a tiny chip on the bottom right drawer (you can see it in the photos).

Dimensions: overall 120cm tall, 90cm wide, 45cm deep. Each drawer is 15cm tall, 50cm wide, 35cm deep.

I’ve kept it in my bedroom for years and it’s always been a favourite spot for storing clothes and linens. It’d fit right in a bedroom, living room, or even as a feature piece in an entryway.
