Chas Roberts Road Bike Ladies Shimano Ultra

This is a real 1995 Chas Roberts road bike — hand-built, never really seen much use since it came off the line. It’s got that classic, almost vintage feel, with a frame that’s been re-finished in sparkly pink powder coat. I found it in the original dayglo yellow livery before that, and the last photo shows it just like that — a bit of a throwback, honestly.

The frame’s beautifully fillet brazed in Columbus SL tubing, which is rare these days. It’s a solid build with Ritchey vertical dropouts and 130mm rear spacing. Bottom bracket shell has a cut-out, and it’s 700c wheels. Seat tube’s 19” (48cm), top tube’s 20.5” (52cm), and the seat post is 27.2mm. Headset’s a Ritchey Logic 1” threaded one.

Groupset is Shimano Ultegra 10-speed — all the parts are either brand new or in great used shape. Chainset’s 170mm cranks with 39 and -50 rings. Downtube shifters are Dura Ace, rear mech and front mech are both Ultegra 6600. Chain’s a new KMC 10-speed. Brakes are Tiagra levers and calipers — all in good shape.

Handlebars and stem are Selcof alloy, stem’s 120mm reach, handlebars are 40cm wide. Bar tape’s Selle Italia. Wheels are Planet X alloy, with Vittoria Corsa 21mm clinchers and tubes. All cables and housing are new — complete set. Pedals are standard, and the saddle is a Madison ladies model.

I sourced new Roberts and Columbus decals from H.Lloyd — they look exactly like the original. Frame number’s 951129 — stamped under the bottom bracket and on the fork steerer.

I’ve kept it mostly untouched since it was made, so it’s in immaculate condition all around. Just a few small marks, nothing major.

No Garmin or mount — those are not included.
