I’m selling my 2014 Jaguar XF 3.0d S V6 Portfolio – it’s been in Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, and I’ve just decided to move on.

It’s a solid 3.0-litre diesel with just 75,045 miles on the clock, which feels like a good balance between age and use. I’ve had it through a full history check and it’s been well looked after. The Portfolio trim gives it that sleek, premium look – the interior has dove grey suedecloth headlining, black pack bits, and a full Meridian Surround audio system with 825W sound. The stereo’s got a 7-inch touchscreen, DAB, Bluetooth, and even a stereo aux input – I’ve used it for loads of music and road trips.

It’s got all the smart bits: parking sensors (front and rear), LED headlights with daytime running lights, automatic headlight washers, and a rear camera. The seats have whiplash protection, heated rear window, and memory settings for the driver and passenger. I love the chrome and mesh side vents – gives it that bit of sportiness without being too flashy.

It’s not the fastest car on the road, but it gets from 0 to 60 in about 5.9 seconds – not bad for a diesel. The engine is quiet and smooth, and it feels stable on the road. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been reliable, with low insurance group and no major issues.

The boot’s generous, so it’s good for family trips or weekend getaways. I’ve also got the remote boot release, keyless entry, and central locking – makes it easy to use.

I’m not looking for much, just a clean, practical car that doesn’t need constant tinkering. It’s not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to – drives well, handles well, and doesn’t break down often.

It’s been in Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, and I’m passing it on. I’ve had a fair few years with it, and I think it’s time to move on.
