2021 Peugeot 2008 1.2 PureTech Allure SUV 5-door manual
Description
This 2021 Peugeot 2008 Allure SUV is a solid, practical little SUV with a clean, modern look and loads of tech for daily use. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been reliable — no major issues, just a bit of wear and tear from regular use. It’s got a 1.2-litre PureTech engine with 100ps, manual gearbox, and a nice, smooth driving feel. The interior is well put together — leather-wrapped steering wheel, carbon-effect trim, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I’ve used the voice recognition a few times, and it works well.
The radio has Bluetooth, DAB, USB ports (front and rear), and a smartphone dock — handy for phone charging and music. There’s a rear reversing camera, which helps when parking. The dashboard has all the usual safety features: driver attention alert, trip computer, speed limiter, and gear shift indicator.
Inside, the seats are comfortable, with manual height adjustments for both driver and front passenger. The seats fold down easily, and the boot floor is modular — useful when I’ve got big loads. The 17-inch Salamanca alloy wheels are in good shape, and the tinted rear windows and dark roof give it a sleek, calm look.
I’ve kept it well-maintained — air conditioning with pollen filter, heated mirrors, heated windscreen, and even a heated rear wiper. The interior lighting is decent, with reading spots and a timer for the rear light.
It’s based in Whyteleafe, Tandridge, and I’m selling it because I’ve moved and don’t need it anymore. It’s been a great car to have for commuting and weekend trips — not flashy, but reliable and efficient.
I’ve had it for a few years, and it’s been mostly low-mileage with only a few minor service visits. It’s not a show car, but it’s been very solid. I’ve also got a 6-month warranty on it — covers any minor faults or issues that might pop up.
If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, tech-savvy SUV that’s not too flashy but does what it needs to, this one’s worth a look.
(Price is £12,117.60 — not a flashy number, but it’s what it is.)
