French Antique Louis XV Armchair

Description

This is a real French antique Louis XV armchair – not a reproduction, not a knock-off. The original wood is painted silver with that lovely, soft patina that comes from age, and it’s been carefully reupholstered in Designer Guild pink velvet and silk brocade. The seat is comfortable, the lines are elegant, and it just feels like something out of a old Parisian drawing room.

It’s 103cm tall, 60cm deep, 64cm wide, and the seat is 43cm high – so it’s not too high or too low, just right. I’ve had it for years and it’s been well cared for. It’s part of a set, and I’ve got a couple of other pieces listed – if you’re interested in buying it as a pair, just let me know.

It’s based in Milton Keynes, City of Milton Keynes, so if you’re local or nearby, I can arrange a drop-off or meet up. I’m not selling it because I need cash – I just wanted to share it with someone who might appreciate it. Price is £148.50, but I’m not going to say that upfront – it’s just something I’ve kept on the books.
