This old sewing or jewellery box has brass edges and a stringing along the top — the brass cartouche is empty, so it's ready to be restored. It's about 12 inches long, 8.75 inches deep, and 5.5 inches tall. I found it in Tintagel, Cornwall, and it's been sitting in my shed for a while. I’m just letting it go as-is, with photos, because I’ve been wanting to restore it myself. It’s £18, so if you're into vintage things or just want a project to work on, it might be a good fit.
