I’m selling my 2016 Volkswagen Polo 1.0 110PS SEL, five-door, with sat nav and a full 10 service record. It’s a solid, practical car with a clean history and a few nice touches.

The exterior has electric front and rear windows, heated rear window with auto timer, and fog lights with cornering function. LED headlights with auto range and headlight wash are handy, plus there’s a daytime running light and rear number plate lights. The windows are tinted – 65% light absorption from the B-pillar back, heat-insulated glass all around. Black grille with chrome trim, body-colour bumpers and door handles, side sills – all matching.

Inside, it’s got a decent audio system with Bluetooth, six speakers, CD player, SD card, aux-in, USB, and DAB radio. The touchscreen is colour-coded and easy to use. There’s a multi-function display and a service interval indicator, which is a plus.

Safety features are solid: ABS, ESC with traction control, hill hold, brake assist, driver alert system, and passenger airbag. The seats have height-adjustable three-point belts with pretensioners, and there’s a whiplash-optimised head restraint for the front seats. I also have a tyre pressure monitor.
