Got this wooden play centre from a few years back, and it’s been a staple in our nursery room ever since. It’s deep sea themed — jellyfish shape with four quadrants, and has all the little bits like gliders, bead runs, spinning cogs, springy coral, and clacking clams. Kids love it, especially from 12 months up. You can sit, kneel, or stand while playing — it’s designed to work in all directions, so kids get to explore from every angle. The wood is non-toxic and water-based, so no worries about splinters or fumes. Dimensions are about 49.5D x 53.3H x 49.5W cm. It’s been in a smoke and pet-free home, and I’m happy to take it off the shelf. It’s a solid piece for little hands — helps with fine motor skills and dexterity.
