Berberis Thunberghi ‘Chiquita’ plant

Description

Got this little barberry shrub from my garden, and I’m letting it go. It’s a hardy, deciduous shrub that’s been growing well in full sun or partial shade, with bright brugundy-red to orange leaves and white flowers in spring. The pot’s about 23cm tall, and the whole plant with pot is around 60cm — it spreads out to about 50-100cm wide. I’ve grown it on a well-drained, moist soil, and it’s really tough — doesn’t need much care once it’s settled in. Just a bit of sun and a bit of water, and it’s happy.

It’s currently in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, so if you're around, you can just pop by and collect it. I’ve kept it in a pot, so it’s easy to move or keep in a container. It’s a bit of a treat to see in the garden — very low maintenance, and looks great in a border or container. I’m not asking much, just £13.50 — it’s not much, but it’s something I’ve grown myself.
