ANTIGUE CHEST - HARD WOOD AND BRASS WITH INTERIOR CONVERSION

Description
This old chest is a real find — 56 x 39 x 28 cm, about 12 to 14 kilos, solid hard wood with brass details. The handles, clasp, hinges, corner straps, and inlay are all there — some of it’s pretty well worn, but it’s still solid. Originally made as a simple chest, I think the inside was converted in the 50s or 60s into a tool chest, using a different wood with brass inlay. It’s not just a chest anymore — it could easily be upgraded back or turned into something else. I found it recently in Louth, East Lindsey. If you're interested, I can collect it from there and post it to the UK for £15 when you pay via PayPal. It’s not a fancy piece, but it’s got character and potential — just like a lot of the old things I’ve come across.Seller Information
