So I’ve been driving this 2021 Nissan Juke for about a year now, and honestly, it’s become one of my go-to cars. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical, quiet, and just about perfect for daily life — school runs, weekly shopping, weekend trips — you name it.

It’s a 1.0-litre diesel engine (wait, no — petrol, actually), which is nice because it’s smooth, not too loud, and doesn’t eat through the fuel tank like some other small cars do. Fuel efficiency is solid, especially if you’re not doing long hauls. I’ve done a fair bit of driving, and it’s held up well.

Inside, it’s roomy enough for two or three people — plenty of headroom, good legroom, and the boot is surprisingly deep. I use it for groceries, a small dog, and even a weekend camping gear haul. The reverse camera is a lifesaver when parking — no more fumbling around.

There’s a decent load of tech too: DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 4.2-inch touchscreen, and even a voice recognition system. The cabin stays nice and cool with climate control, and the seats are comfy even on long drives.

I’ve kept it well maintained — regular servicing, no major issues. It’s been through a full check-up, has an HPI clear, and is properly valeted. It’s not a luxury car, but it’s reliable and easy to drive.

I bought it from Vertu Nissan back in Wivenhoe, Rowhedge — they’re a solid lot, do proper checks, and keep things clean and tidy. I’ve seen a few used Jukes over the years, but this one feels like it’s been well looked after.

It’s currently sitting in Wivenhoe, Rowhedge, and I’m thinking of selling it after a few more years of use. If you’re looking for something dependable, not too flashy, and just good enough for everyday life — this might be it.
