Description
Got this old GT Timberline mountain bike sitting in my garage in Newmilns, East Ayrshire — it’s a real retro piece with a small frame (labelled 12.5", but the top tube is actually 15 inches). Ground to seat is about 92cm when fully extended. The frame’s chromoly tubing and triple triangle design is solid, and the 26" Araya RX7 rims (Japanese) are still in good shape with Shimano Exage hubs. Brakes are still effective, and the 21-speed trigger shifters and original GT pedals are all there. Tires have plenty of tread and the whole thing’s been properly serviced recently — new gear cables, wheels regreased and trued, cassette cleaned, headset adjusted, and brakes tuned. I’ve even cleaned and polished it up a bit. If you’re interested, I can post it if you pay for it. I’m happy to meet up at Newmilns station if you’re coming from the London area.
