2011 Land Rover Discovery Estate
Description
So, I’ve got a 2011 Discovery Estate – the 4-door, 3.0 litre TDV6 one – and I’m selling it because I’ve just bought a new car. It’s been in the family since 2012, and I’ve had it since 2018, which means I’ve really got to know it inside out. It’s been mostly well looked after – I’ve done all the servicing myself over the years, and everything’s been logged. The car’s in great shape overall: leather seats, aircon, air suspension, sat-nav with touchscreen, CD/DAB, Bluetooth for iPhone, xenon lights, electric handbrake, keyless entry with two keys, and full owners manual. The 19-inch alloys were always Pirelli Scorpions – never been swapped out.
It’s got a detachable tow bar, which I’ve only used for a bike rack, never for towing. There’s a genuine cargo/dog guard and Thule roof bars if you’re interested – both are available as extras. The rear tyre was replaced after a puncture, and I’ve had brand new front brake pads and discs installed recently.
The car has a few small marks on the bodywork, but nothing major – it’s been kept clean and mostly driven on local roads. Parking sensors don’t work anymore, but that’s the only thing not working. MOT runs until February 2026. All the paperwork and recalls (including the tow bar one) are up to date.
I’ve never used it for towing, so it’s very clean in that regard. The boot has a liner, and it’s got seven seats – plenty of space. It’s a solid, reliable car that I’ve loved having around.
It’s in ferryside, Carmarthenshire, so if you’re local, I can drop it off or arrange a viewing. Just let me know.
