🤖🥁 ROLAND KT-9 KICK TRIGGER PEDAL beaterless quiet bass drum trigger
Description
So I’ve got this Roland KT-9 kick pedal — the one that’s basically silent when you press it, which is a huge deal if you’re practicing late at night in Leeds, West Yorkshire. No beater, no thud, just a smooth, quiet trigger that still feels natural under your foot.I found it working perfectly and gave it a good go-through — cleaned it up a bit, checked the springs, and it’s in very good shape. No scratches, no wear, just a well-maintained unit. The springs are both included, and you can actually adjust the feel by removing one if you want a lighter or heavier response.
There’s a small hole on the front edge where you could theoretically attach a bit of weight — it’s not included, and I didn’t add anything, so it’s up to you. If you're into that kind of tweak, go for it.
The thing that really stands out is how quiet it is. Compared to the old KD-9 kick pedals, this cuts noise by 85% in your room and 63% in the room below — so if you’re practicing in an apartment or shared space, this actually helps a lot.
I’ve used it with my V-Drums setup and it works smoothly with all the other Roland gear — like the NE-10 isolation boards or NE-1 feet — which makes it feel a lot more like a real drum kit.
It’s compact, easy to set up, and doesn’t take up much space. Fits right in with any electronic kit.
I’ve got it ready to ship from SA16 0PR or via eBay — just let me know how you’d like it sent. It’s priced at £117, but I’m not going to say that upfront — just thought I’d share the full story.
If you’re into quiet, expressive drumming at home, this one’s worth checking out. Works great with headphones, no fuss, no noise. Just you, your kit, and your practice rhythm.
(No beater, no noise — just clean, quiet kicks.)
