2014 Volkswagen Polo 1.2 Match Edition Euro 5 3dr Hatchback Petrol Manual
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2014 Polo Match Edition, petrol, manual, 3-door hatchback. I’m not going to lie, it’s been a solid workhorse. I’ve got 99,000 miles on it, and every single service has been done properly — 11 full services in total, bringing it up to 96k. I had a new clutch fitted at 70k, which I’m pretty happy about — no grinding, just smooth shifts. It’s had four different owners, and I’ve kept it well-maintained. The MOT runs until March 2026, so it’s got plenty of time before it needs a new one. I’ve just given it a fresh engine oil and filter service, and it’s been checked through a full PDI — everything’s in order. There’s also a 3-month nationwide parts and labour warranty included, which I thought was a nice touch.
Inside, it’s got alloy wheels, air-con, a media system in the glove box, aux input, cruise control, electric front windows, two keys, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It’s a bit of a classic for a Polo — clean, reliable, and actually quite pleasant to drive.
The car was sold through a family-run dealership in Glogue, Pembrokeshire — we’ve been around for a while, and we’ve actually won Car Gurus’ Top Dealer of the Year a few years running (2019 to 2024), and Auto Trader has rated us highly for customer service too. That’s not just fluff — it’s real feedback from people who’ve bought cars from us.
I’m not looking to sell it fast — I’ve just decided to move on. I’ve got a small deposit available for finance, and I’ve kept it in great shape the whole time. If you’re looking for a reliable, low-maintenance hatchback that’s been well looked after, this one’s been good value.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat — I’m based in Glogue, Pembrokeshire, and I’m around most days. You can call me on 07868 302407 or 01254 427765. I’m not selling it to anyone who doesn’t actually know what they’re getting into — it’s not a flashy car, but it’s been dependable, and I’ve used it for everything from city drives to weekend trips.
Just thought I’d share it. Maybe someone out there will find it useful.
