Description

So, I’ve been riding this 2020 Yamaha Tracer 700 for about a year now, and honestly? It’s one of those bikes that just feels right. It’s not flashy, but it’s got real character — smooth power, good handling, and that classic Yamaha feel that’s both comfortable and fun.

It’s based on the MT-07 platform, so it’s got that 689cc CP2 engine that’s strong and linear — you don’t get that jumpy, punchy feel you sometimes get with smaller bikes. The ride is smooth, and the suspension is adjustable, which means it’s easy to tweak depending on whether you’re commuting or hitting the hills on a weekend ride.

The bike has ABS, which is a must for me, and heated grips if you’re riding in the colder months. I’ve got a modern digital display too, which makes it easy to check speed, fuel, and everything else without taking your eyes off the road.

I’ve got a few little extras — R&G crash bungs, a radiator guard to keep it safe from stone chips, and an MRA screen that really improves wind protection. There’s also a grab handle for when you’re riding with a pillion, and the LED tail light gives it a bit of a clean, modern look.

What I really appreciate is the full service history — the manual and service book are both in great shape, and it shows it’s been properly looked after over the years. That gives me peace of mind, especially since I’m not a full-time rider and just want something reliable.

It’s currently based in Lightwater, Windlesham, so if you’re in the area, you can just come pick it up. Otherwise, I can arrange delivery — no problem.

The price is £4,499.10, but I don’t want to make it sound like a transaction. It’s more like a bike I’ve been using and decided to part with — it’s been a great companion, and I’m happy to share it.

If you’re thinking about getting into riding, this one’s a solid choice — not too much power, not too much fuss, just what you need for daily rides and weekend trips.

No HPI check, no hidden fees — just a bike that’s been properly cared for and ready to go. I’ve also got a full pre-delivery inspection and a clear warranty in place, so you know it’s been checked and is safe to ride.

If you’re curious, just drop me a message — I’m happy to chat about it.
