So, I’ve had this 2018 MINI Clubman Cooper S Diesel Estate for a few years now — it’s been my go-to car for everything from weekend trips to just getting around town. I bought it new back in the day, and it’s still feels like it’s got that classic MINI spirit — compact, clever, and just a bit fun to drive.

It’s Midnight Black with metallic finish, and the diesel engine is punchy without being noisy. The 2.0-litre bit gives you decent power, especially on the motorway, and it’s surprisingly economical for a car this size. The automatic transmission means you don’t have to worry about shifting — it just feels smooth and responsive, like it knows when to accelerate and when to hold back.

The six-door design is a real plus. Those split rear doors make it easy to get stuff in and out, and the boot is way bigger than you’d expect for a MINI. Five seats fit comfortably, and the interior is clean, well-maintained, with all the usual MINI touches — ambient lighting, central screen with sat nav, Bluetooth, DAB, Apple CarPlay, and even parking sensors. I’ve never had a problem with the tech side of it.

I’ve had it through a few seasons of different weather, from winter to summer, and it’s held up well. The steering is sharp, the handling is solid, and it doesn’t feel like it’s pushing itself around corners — just a bit of fun without being wild. The alloy wheels are diamond-cut, and the green tinted glass gives it a subtle, cool look.

I’ve kept it well-maintained — full service history, all the safety features like ABS, ESP, and airbags are in place, and it even has a run-flat indicator. The interior is clean, the seats are still comfortable, and I’ve never had any major issues.

It’s sitting in my garage in Wedmore, Somerset, and I’ve only driven it a few hundred miles a year since I got it. I’ve actually been thinking about selling it now because I’m moving to a different part of the country and don’t need it as much.

Price is £10,255.50 — fair for what it is, honestly. If you’re someone who likes a bit of style, practicality, and still wants a car that feels like it’s having fun — this one’s for you.

I’ve never sold a car before, so I’m a bit nervous about letting it go — but I’ve really enjoyed having it, and I hope someone else can enjoy it as much. If you’re interested, I can pop over and show it off in person. No pressure, just a real car, real use, real value.
