I’ve had this Carrera Crixus for a few years now and it’s honestly been one of my go-to bikes for everything from daily commutes to weekend rides in the countryside. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid—handles mixed terrain just fine, whether it’s tarmac, gravel, or a bit of muddy track. The alloy frame and rigid fork mean it doesn’t wobble, and the Shimano Claris 2x8 setup gives you a good range of gears without any fuss.

I’ve used it regularly, so there are a few light marks and a bit of wear, but it still runs smoothly and feels great in the saddle. The mudguards and pannier mounts are all there, which is handy if you’re doing longer trips. The brakes are mechanical, but they’ve held up well—no issues at all.

It’s been a reliable workhorse, and I’m happy to part with it. It’s in decent shape, not showing any major damage, and it’s ready to go right out of the box. I’m based in Lauder, Scottish Borders, so collection can happen there—just let me know when you’re free. Open to reasonable offers.
