Laura Ashley Southwold Armchair

I’ve had this Laura Ashley Southwold armchair for years and it’s honestly one of my favourite pieces in the house. It’s the kind of chair that just feels warm and comfortable, like it’s been sitting in your living room for decades.

It’s a genuine leather seat, chocolate brown, with a solid hardwood frame and dark brown legs. The brass castors are still smooth, and the privacy wings and gently rounded armrests give it that classic Laura Ashley elegance. The seat is cushioned with fibre, which feels soft even after years of use.

It’s about 80cm wide, 80cm deep, and 1m high – seat height is around 47cm, so it’s not too high or too low. I’ve kept it in great condition, just a bit worn at the edges, but nothing major. It’s a real solid piece, and I’m finally downsizing and selling it.
