Description

So I’ve had this Golf for just over four years now, and honestly, it’s been one of those cars that just keeps getting better with time. I picked it up new in Sutton-on-Sea, East Lindsey, and it’s been a solid daily driver — not flashy, but reliable, comfortable, and actually quite fun to drive when you want to push it a bit.

It’s a 2.0 TSI with the 4MOTION all-wheel drive, which is great for the weather we get around here. The interior is clean, the leather steering wheel feels good, and the seats are comfortable even on long drives. I use the climate control a lot — it’s got a two-zone system with an allergy filter, which I actually appreciate when I’m on the go.

The tech side is solid: DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB, and even a rear view camera. I’ve used the parking sensors a lot, especially when I’m doing the tight streets near the coast. The LED lights are nice — dynamic light assist helps when driving at night, and the daytime running lights are a bit of a charm.

I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s never had any major issues. The 4x4 system works well, especially in the rain or on wet roads. It’s got all the safety stuff — ESP, ABS, brake assist, lane assist, adaptive cruise, and even a pre-crash warning system. I didn’t use the full range of features all the time, but I’ve found them useful when driving in busy areas.

The paint is solid pure white, and the trim is cloth with those grey art velours on the side bolsters — gives it a bit of a sporty feel without being too flashy. The body is fully galvanised, and the black rear diffuser and bumpers look decent. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been parked in a garage most of the time.

I’m selling it because I’m moving to a different area and don’t need it as much anymore. It’s not in perfect condition, but it’s still in great shape — miles are low, no major repairs, and it runs smoothly. The price is £20,061.90, which is what I paid when I bought it, so it’s not a huge loss.

If you’re looking for a practical, reliable, and slightly sporty hatchback that doesn’t need much fuss — this one’s been a good fit for me. I’ll keep it in the garage until I hand it over, and I’m happy to help with any questions or show it around if needed.

No price tags, no fluff — just a real car, in a real location, with a real story.
