Toyota 1NZ-FE Engine and C56 Gearbox from 2003 Yaris T Sport

Got this engine and gearbox out of a 2003 Yaris T Sport that’s done about 150k miles. Not a full Toyota history, just a bit of a story from the previous owner — said the engine was recently serviced and the clutch was replaced. No proof, but the engine runs smooth, no knocks, no smoke, nothing out of the ordinary. Gearbox shifts cleanly through all gears, no grinding or crunching.

The only quirk is it tends to rev a bit high when it’s cold and starts up — then settles down, which I think is just a minor thing, not anything to do with the engine itself.

Selling them as a complete unit, all the bits and pieces together. No parts being sold off separately. You’ll need to take them out yourself — I’ll strip the front end to make it easier, and can give a bit of a hand with the removal if needed.

If they don’t sell, I’ll take them out later and relist at a higher price.

Price is £95 for the engine, £55 for the gearbox, or £135 together — negotiable.
