Description
These are the original Bartow runway lenses from 1943–45, 15 inches wide, one of a kind. I found them in a storage box at my old job in Herne Bay, Kent. They’re just the lenses—no bases—so they’d need to be reinstalled if someone wanted to use them. They’re not split, which is a big deal for this type of rare piece. I’ve kept them clean and stored them carefully, never used them. I’m not sure how they’d work today, but they’re a solid piece of aviation history.
