Got this Defender a couple of years ago and it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s the Carpathian Edition with the V8, so it’s got that chunky, rugged look and feels like it’s built to handle anything. The 5-door setup is perfect for family trips or just hauling gear around. It comes with ABS, ESP, and all the safety stuff like pretensioners and xenon lights. The climate control keeps things comfy in either winter or summer. Still has the cassette player, which is a bit of a throwback, but it’s nice to know it’s there. Rear spoiler gives it a bit of a sporty edge. I’ve been using it mostly in Saltdean, Brighton — it’s a great place to live and drives well on the coastal roads. It’s not exactly a weekend toy, but it’s been reliable and fun to drive. I’m just getting rid of it because I’ve found a more practical car for my needs now.
