2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range Dual Motor 4WD Electric SUV
Description
I’ve been driving this 2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range for a few months now and honestly, it’s one of the best electric cars I’ve ever used. It’s got a 85kWh battery, so it can go up to 331 miles on a single charge when new — which means no range anxiety on long trips. The four-wheel drive gives you solid grip in all conditions, and the acceleration is sharp — 0-60 in just 4.8 seconds, which feels pretty solid for an EV.Inside, it’s pretty spacious. The seats are heated — both front and rear — which comes in handy on colder days. There’s dual climate control, so you can keep the front and back of the car comfortable even when the outside is chilly. I use the 15-inch touchscreen a lot — maps, music, navigation, all set up with Bluetooth. The wireless phone charging and USB-C ports are a nice touch, and the 19-inch alloy wheels (Gemini design) look sharp.
It’s got a lot of smart features: autopilot, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and even a dashcam. The rear parking sensors help a lot when I’m parking, and the heated steering wheel and floor mats make it comfortable to drive in winter. The roof has UV and IR protection too, which I appreciate when it’s sunny.
I charge it at home with a 7kW charger — takes about 12 hours to fully charge — and at public stations, it can get to 80% in 25 minutes. That’s a big win for people who are on the go.
I’m selling it because I’ve moved to Heywood, Rochdale, and I’m looking for something a bit more compact. The price is £21,397.50, which is fair given the specs and how reliable it’s been.
I’m not a dealer — I just bought it secondhand, kept it for a few months, and now I’m passing it on. I’ve had it serviced regularly and it’s in great condition. It comes with a 3-month warranty (can upgrade to lifetime if you want).
If you’re thinking about switching to an EV and want something practical, roomy, and smart — this one’s worth a look. I’m happy to answer any questions or chat about it. Just give me a ring — 0161 761 4171.
(PS: I know it’s a bit of a long list, but I’ve actually used it every day, so I know what it’s really like.)
