So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2019 A220 AMG Line Premium Plus hatchback, petrol, 7-speed auto. I bought it new for about £19,800, and it’s been well looked after. Only two previous owners, and I’ve kept it running smoothly ever since.

It’s got a solid 40.4 mpg rating, which is pretty good for a car this size. The engine’s a 2.0L, 187bhp — not flashy, but plenty of oomph for everyday driving.
