2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA 180 AMG Line Executive Auto – Front Damage, Salvage, Repairable
Description
So, I’ve got this 2024 Mercedes CLA 180 AMG Line Executive auto here — it’s a clean-looking model from the start, but it’s had a front-end hit and is currently in salvage status. The insurance claim’s been settled, and it’s repairable, so it’s not just sitting in the yard, it’s actually being worked on.I’m not selling it as “perfect” — it’s not a showroom car. The damage is front-end only, and I’ve been told it’s repairable. That said, if you’re thinking about buying it, you really need to come see it. I don’t trust descriptions or pictures alone — especially not the ones that pop up on eBay or Gumtree. The info they fill in might be off, and I’ve seen that before.
If you’re serious about checking it out, I’d recommend bringing your own mechanic or a trusted engineer. Just a quick look at the damage, the panels, the structure — that’s the only way to know if it’s something you’d want to take on.
The car’s been through an insurance claim, so it’s not a private vehicle, and there’s no guarantee on mileage or original parts like the sat-nav, parcel shelf, or spare wheel. I’ve seen a few of these with old data or missing bits — so don’t assume anything.
I’m based at Kilgetty, Station Road, and I can arrange a viewing or a pickup. Delivery’s possible anywhere in the UK, but that’s an extra cost.
If you’re looking at it, give me a call — Shaun or Dave — between 9am and 4pm, and we can sort something out. The office number is 0115 9300505.
I don’t give warranties on anything — not on the engine, not on the structure, not on how it’ll behave after repairs. Once it leaves the yard, that’s your responsibility.
All deposits are non-refundable, and if you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, I’m free to sell it to someone else.
Payments can be done via debit card, bank transfer, or cash — I just ask for ID and proof of funds. Cash at site or bank comes with a 2% handling fee, so I’d suggest card if possible.
Just be honest with yourself — this isn’t a car you’d buy off the lot and drive straight away. It’s a salvage, it’s been claimed, and it’s got a history. But if you’re in the market for something with a bit of character, and you’re okay with doing your own checks, then maybe it’s worth a look.
Let me know if you’re interested — I’ll help you get the details and set up a time.
— Just a real person, sharing what I’ve got.
