I’m selling my 2009 Honda Civic SE with the 1.8 i-VTE or VTEC engine — it’s a 5-door hatchback with 1799cc, and it’s been doing mostly local drives over the years. It’s got about 90,000 miles on it, which for a car this age is pretty solid — only a few light scratches here and there, nothing major. The body’s black, alloy wheels, and it’s been properly looked after with a mix of Honda and independent servicing. MOT’s valid until August 2026, so it’s been well-maintained. I’ve had a new battery fitted recently, and the AC works like a charm.

Inside, it’s clean and tidy — dual-zone climate control, electric windows and mirrors, steering wheel controls, and the rear seats fold down easily, which is handy if you’re doing long trips or carrying a lot. The gearbox is smooth and responsive, and it’s definitely one of those cars that just feels reliable. I’ve driven it regularly, and it’s never broken down.

It’s parked in Markfield, Hinckley and Bosworth now, and I’m not sure if it’ll be used much after this — just a solid, dependable car that’s been trusted over the years. I’m not looking for much, just someone who’ll take it and get on with it. The price is £2,790, but I’m not going to go overboard on that. It’s a bit of a classic in its way, and I’d feel good knowing it’s going to a good home.
