I’ve had this Golf since new and it’s been a real joy to drive — still feels sharp and responsive, even after all these years. It’s got that GTI flair with the exclusive badging and 18-inch Austin Design alloy wheels, which really stand out when you're out and about. The front sports seats give the cabin a bit of that sporty vibe, and I’ve got the sunroof on — love opening it up on sunny days.

The infotainment screen is easy to use and keeps things handy, and features like adaptive cruise control and both front and rear parking sensors make driving on the roads, especially on the motorway or in tight spots, feel much easier. Safety features like pretensioners are still there too — nothing’s been cut corners on that.

It’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues with city driving in London or other zones. I’ve actually kept it pretty well maintained over the years — not flashy, but solid.
