10 x Beswick Beatrix Potter Figurines
Description
I’ve got a bunch of Beatrix Potter figurines I’ve been holding onto for years — 10 in total, all from the Beswick range. They’re a bit of a collection, mostly from the 90s and earlier, with a few from the 40s and 50s.Here’s the breakdown:
- Mrs Rabbit (1998), about 10cm — I remember this one from a birthday gift
- And this Pig had none (1992), 10cm — one of the more charming ones
- Mrs Tiggy Winkle (1948), 8cm — a classic, quite small
- Tabitha Twitchett (no date), 9cm — a bit of a wildcard, looks like it was made later
- Hunca Munca (1951), 6.5cm — tiny, but cute
- Hunca Munca Sweeping (1977), 8cm — a bit more detailed, shows her sweeping
- Jemima Puddleduck (1948), 10.5cm — one of the bigger ones, very detailed
- Foxy Whiskered Gentleman (1954), 12cm — quite tall, looks like a real gentleman
- Benjamin Ate A Lettuce Leaf (1992), 12cm — funny little character
- And another Jemima Puddleduck (1948), 10.5cm — same as the other one, just a repeat
They’re all in good condition, mostly just a bit dusty — I’ve cleaned them up a bit. I’ve been meaning to part with them, so thought I’d share. If you’re into vintage Potter figures or just want a quirky little collection, I’ve got them for £180.
They’re stored in a box at my place in Longniddry, B1377. I’m happy to send them if you’re local or just want to chat about them. No pressure — just something I’ve had sitting in a drawer for years.
