1972 Triumph Spitfire Mark 4 Petrol Manual
Description
This Spitfire has been a solid driver for years – I’ve actually had it for most of the last decade, mostly just driving it around for fun. It’s a genuine Mark 4, and the engine runs well, though the paint’s a bit patchy and needs a full repaint. I’m thinking of getting a carpet set next, but it’s been kept well and only had four previous owners. The last one was a lady who kept it for a long time, so it’s had a steady, quiet history.I’ve got the V5, all the past MOTs, tax discs, maintenance records, the original handbook, and some old DVLA letters – just in case anyone wants to dig into the story. It’s registered as historic, so no tax or MOT worries.
It’s currently in Windsor, Castle Hill – I’m not going to move it, so if you’re interested, I can arrange a view or a delivery across the country. I’ve got a family-run garage nearby, and we’ve been dealing in classic cars for over 20 years. We’re not a flashy lot – just people who’ve actually driven these things and know what they’re worth.
If you’re thinking of checking it out, give me a call on 01405 860021. No pressure, just a quick chat and see if it fits your ride. I’d be happy to show it over a coffee or a drive – no need to rush.
P.S. It’s not just a car – it’s a piece of driving history I’ve grown to love. And yes, it’s worth about £3,145.50 – but that’s not why I’m selling it. I just wanted to share it with someone who’ll appreciate it.
