Description

Got this Kia Sportage from Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy — it's a 2022 model with the 1.6 petrol engine and manual transmission. I bought it a few years ago and have used it mostly for weekend trips and daily commuting. It's been well looked after, and I'm selling it because I’ve moved on to something more suited to my current needs.

The car has a 12.3-inch display with navigation, and the colour cluster is sharp and easy to read. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work smoothly, and I’ve used the voice control quite a bit — it’s handy when I’m driving and want to keep hands off the wheel. There’s cruise control with speed limiter, drive mode selector, and features like lane keep assist, lane following, and forward collision avoidance (covers city, pedestrian, cyclist, and junctions).

I also like the parking sensors, both front and rear, and the reversing camera that’s built into the centre screen. The system gives a good view when backing up. There’s a DAB radio with MP3, Bluetooth, and a USB port in the back — great for listening to music or charging devices.

Inside, it’s got cloth and faux leather seats, with a decent amount of storage — cupholders, armrests, front and rear pockets, and a centre console box. The seats are heated, especially the front and outer rear ones, and the driver’s seat has power lumbar support. All the windows are electric, and the mirrors are electrically adjustable, heated, and foldable with LED indicators.

The interior is clean and tidy, and it’s been kept in good condition. The headlights and fog lamps are LED, with rain-sensing wipers and high beam assist. There’s a glovebox light, rear privacy glass, and a luggage area light with a load cover.

I’ve kept the original trim — black side sills, body-colour mirrors and door handles, silver accents on the bumpers and roof rack. The rear spoiler and silver skid plate are still there, and it’s got a 12V socket in the front and trunk.

I’ve also got the UVO Kia Connect system, which lets me track location and check battery status — useful when I’m out of town. There’s a second-row personal lamp, a 3-seat bench, and the rear seats fold down in a 40/20/4.

It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, tech-friendly, and comfortable for a family or two. I’m not asking much — it’s just a car I’ve used for years, and I’m getting rid of it now.

Price is £19,709.10 — I’ll keep it low because it’s been well maintained and I’ve had it for a while.

If you're looking for something practical with solid tech and good safety features, this one might work for you. Let me know if you'd like to see it or talk through it — I’m happy to chat.
