I’ve had this little Toyota Yaris for over 10 years now — it’s been my daily driver through all sorts of weather and trips. It’s a 2008 1.3 petrol hatchback with 5 doors, and it’s been well looked after. The steering column’s adjustable, so it fits my height, and the air-con works fine even on hot days. Front electric windows, CD player with speakers, and a decent radio — not fancy, but it gets the job done.

Inside it’s cloth upholstery, not super plush, but still comfy. There’s driver and passenger airbags, side airbags too, and ABS brakes. I’ve kept it clean and safe, with all the basics like central locking, fog lights, and alloy 15-inch wheels (body-coloured bumpers, mirrors, and side trim). It has a spare wheel and all the little things you’d expect in a reliable hatchback.

I’ve actually driven it to Wigan, Greater Manchester, a few times over the years — it’s a solid, practical car that’s been dependable. It’s sitting in my garage now, not used much lately, but it’s still in great shape. I’m not selling it to anyone who wants a flashy car — just a quiet, reliable little hatch that gets you where you need to go.
