Description
This is my old Dawes Giro junior racing bike – black, not white, which I’ve kept for years and only used for local rides. It’s a small frame, great for shorter riders, and built with 6061 aluminium – light and solid. The gearing’s a 2x7 Shimano Tourney setup with STI shifters, and the brakes are dual pivot calipers with decent blocks. Everything’s original, including the alloy stem and bars, and the crankset has a chain ring guard. The pedals are those classic Rat Trap ones, and the seat post and saddle are still original, though the saddle has a small tear (not affecting use). Wheels are 26 inch double-walled alloy with good tyres and Joytech hubs. It’s been properly serviced recently, so it’s ready to go. I’ve only ridden it a bit, and it’s in really good shape. It’s sitting in much-wenlock, Shropshire, and I’m not selling it for much – just £117. If you’re interested, give me a call. No texts or emails, please – I’m not used to messaging.
