Passion Flower Plant – Passiflora Incarnata ‘Cool Tropics Eia Popeia’
Description
Got this passion flower plant tucked away in my garden in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, North West Leicestershire. It’s a passiflora incarnata ‘Cool Tropics Eia Popeia’ – the kind that really puts on a show. The flowers are big and vibrant, deep violet-blue, almost like they were painted by someone who loves colour. And when it’s ready, it produces those little yellow fruits that you can actually eat – not too bad, honestly. It’s a hardy climber, so you can just drape it over a wall, fence, or even a metal obelisk. Doesn’t mind sun or shade, and doesn’t fuss about the soil either. I’ve grown it for years and it’s been pretty reliable. The blooms are stunning, especially in summer.
Only £10.80 – I’m not sure why I held onto it for so long, it’s just too pretty to pass up. Photos are attached, so you can see what I mean. If you’ve got a spot for a bit of greenery with some real flair, this one’s for you.
