2014 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer 2.0 CDTi SRi MPV
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this 2014 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer for a while now — it’s been in my garage in Alresford, Winchester, and honestly, it’s been one of those cars that just feels right for family trips or just hauling a bunch of stuff around. It’s a five-door MPV with that sleek black body, and the space inside is actually pretty impressive — you can fit seven people easily, and there’s a lot of room to move around. The 2.0-litre diesel engine isn’t flashy, but it’s solid — 128 bhp and 221 lb/ft of torque, which means it gets you from 0 to 60 in about 10.6 seconds. Not the fastest, but it’s smooth and gets around well, whether you’re on the motorway or just navigating the local roads.
It’s front-wheel drive, which helps with stability, and I’ve kept it well maintained — service records are up to date, and it’s got a full 12-month MOT. I’ve also got a six-month warranty and 12 months of free AA cover, which I’m happy to include. The car’s been with two previous owners, and it’s been good to keep running with minimal issues.
Fuel economy’s decent at 55.4 mpg, so it doesn’t burn through petrol like some of the other diesel models I’ve seen. Road tax is £195 a year, which is fairly low, and it’s in a low insurance group — that makes it cheaper to insure, which is a real plus if you’re thinking of getting it for regular use.
One thing to note: it’s not ULEZ compliant, so if you’re driving in London or areas with that regulation, you’ll need to check that.
I’m not selling it just because it’s a good car — I’ve actually used it a lot over the years, and it’s been reliable. If you're looking for a practical, roomy MPV that doesn’t break the bank on running costs, this one might fit your needs. I’d be happy to show it over if you’re interested — just pop by.
P.S. It comes with all the safety features, including pretensioners, so it’s got a bit of that modern safety edge.
