2.6m Jive kayak – still goes strong after years of paddling

So this kayak’s not brand new, it’s been on the water a few times, got a few scratches here and there, but honestly? It still cuts through the water like it’s having a good time. I bought it years ago as a fun weekend get-away, and it’s been a solid companion for all sorts of little trips – from calm lakes to bumpy rivers.

It’s a 2.6m Jive, the classic playboat design – lightweight, turns well, and doesn’t try to impress, just gets the job done. I’ve used it loads, and it’s still holding up fine. No fancy gadgets, just pure, reliable fun.

I’ve been thinking about selling it after a while, mostly because I’ve found a newer one with better features, but this one still has charm and personality. It’s not perfect, but it’s been loved and trusted.

Price is £144 – not too bad for a kayak that’s already done its bit. No PayPal, just a quick handover.
