2020 BMW 1 Series 120d M Sport 5-door Hatchback Diesel
Description
I’m selling my 2020 BMW 1 Series 120d M Sport – a solid, well-maintained hatchback that’s been a real joy to drive. It’s not flashy, but it’s got that BMW punch – sharp handling, good power, and a bit of that sporty edge you get when the M Sport package is on board. The 2.0-litre diesel engine kicks in smoothly and gets you from 0 to 62 in about 7 seconds – not the fastest, but more than enough for everyday use.Inside, it’s pretty well equipped. The tech pack includes Bluetooth, a decent sound system, and the BMW ConnectedDrive stuff – useful bits like emergency calls and live cockpit updates. The seats are perforated Dakota leather in black with blue highlights, which I’ve actually come to like – feels nice, not too flashy. The M Sport suspension and steering give it a bit more grip and responsiveness than a regular hatchback, which helps when you’re doing a bit of winding road driving.
I’ve kept it pretty clean – no major issues, just a few normal wear-and-tear things you’d expect. It’s got PDC with front and rear sensors, cruise control, electric windows, keyless entry, and all the safety stuff like airbags, stability control, and child seat ISOFIX points. The boot’s decent too – plenty of space for a weekend trip or a couple of groceries.
I’ve actually driven it for years and it’s been reliable, easy to maintain, and feels more like a proper driver’s car than a typical hatch. It’s not the most expensive car out there, but it’s solid, practical, and just about the right balance of fun and usability.
I’m based in Needham-market, Suffolk, so if you’re local or passing through, I’m happy to chat. It’s not something I need to keep, so I’m just getting rid of it. I’ve had it for about five years and it’s been a reliable companion through a lot of different drives – from city commutes to weekend getaways.
Price is £18,000 – I’ve kept it reasonable and it’s something I can actually afford to let go of.
If you’ve ever driven a BMW and liked the feel of it, this might be worth a look. It’s not perfect, but it’s solid, well-kept, and just feels like a proper car. No fuss, no pressure – just a real car for a real person.
