Description

So, I’ve been driving this little Mazda2 for just over 6 years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever had. It’s a 1.5L Skyactiv-G engine, manual gearbox, Euro 6 compliant, and it’s got all the modern bits you’d expect — navigation, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, and even a 7-inch touchscreen.

I’ve never needed to replace the engine or brakes, and it’s been mostly low-mileage use — mostly city driving with a bit of weekend trips. The alloy wheels are gunmetal, and the seats are comfy, especially the driver’s side with the manual height and recline. There’s a lot of storage — glovebox, door pockets, seatback pockets, even coat hooks on the rear seats.

Safety features are solid: front and side airbags, curtain airbags, ABS, DSC with traction control, ESS, parking sensors, and even a tyre pressure monitor. The headlights have dusk sensing, and the wipers are smart — they auto-adjust. I use the cruise control and lane departure warning a lot, especially on longer drives.

It’s got all the standard tech — climate control, audio with 6 speakers, CD player, and even a smart keyless entry. The steering is smooth, and the gear knob is leather. I’ve never had to fix anything major, and it’s been kept in good shape.

I’m moving to arthog, Gwynedd, and this is just one of the cars I’ve kept around for years. I’m not selling it for a big sum — it’s just a solid, well-maintained little hatchback I’ve used every day. I’m passing it on because I’ve moved, and it’s time to make space.

If you’re looking for a reliable, no-frills, easy-to-drive hatchback with decent tech and solid safety — this one’s a real keeper.

(Price is £7,020 — not a big deal, honestly.)
