XYZ Model VM 3500 CNC Vertical Milling Machine 2002

Description

This is my old XYZ VM 3500 CNC vertical milling machine from 2002 — I’ve had it for years and used it mostly for small fabrication jobs around the home workshop. It’s a solid piece, with a 1370mm x 360mm table, PROTO TRAK VM CNC control, and a 5HP variable speed head. The spindle’s 40 internal taper, runs up to 6000 RPM, and has a power draw bar. The X and Y traverse is 31" x 20", and Z axis travel is 23". I’ve had it professionally refurbished in 2020 — chrome slides, ball screws, metric dials, all in good shape. Serial number T-9823.

It’s currently stored in Sompting, Adur, and I’m happy to let people see it in person with a bit of notice. I’ve only used it for practical projects, so it’s not worn out — just a bit of dust and age. I’m not selling it for profit, more like passing it on to someone who might actually use it.

The price is £8,955 plus VAT, but I’ll share that if you’re interested. Delivery’s possible — subject to prior sale, and I can quote transport if needed. All payments need to be cleared before dispatch.
