2018 Hyundai Tucson Estate 1.6 T-GDi Premium
Description
So, I’ve been driving this 2018 Hyundai Tucson Estate for about 3 years now and honestly, it’s been a solid ride — especially for a family car. It’s got that metallic micron grey paint, looks pretty sharp, and the black leather seats are comfy. I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s got a full service history all the way through — no dodgy repairs or surprises.Inside, it’s got a big 8-inch touchscreen with sat-nav, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. I use it all the time, especially when I’m out on long drives. Bluetooth works smoothly, and the audio is decent — Krell system with 8 speakers and a subwoofer, so the music actually sounds good.
It comes with all the modern safety stuff: parking sensors all around, rear camera, blind spot detection, lane assist, cruise control, hill start assist, and even a driver attention alert. The climate control is dual-zone, so I can adjust things for front and back passengers. The heated seats are a nice touch too — especially when it’s chilly.
I’ve got 18-inch alloy wheels, electric windows, power mirrors that fold and heat up, and even a roof spoiler. The interior is clean and tidy, and the boot space is more than enough for a couple of kids’ toys or weekend gear.
I bought it second-hand back in 2018, and it’s been a reliable companion through a lot of changes — from moving house to just getting around town. I’ve had it serviced regularly, and it’s never needed a major overhaul.
I’m selling it because I’m moving to a different part of Wales — Llanfairfechan, Conwy — and I’m just looking to downsize. It’s a bit of a long way from Stockport, so I’m not selling it locally, but I’ve kept it in good shape and used it for all my daily needs.
It’s worth noting that I’ve had it checked by a few people over the years, and the service records are solid. If you’re thinking about buying it, I’d recommend seeing it in person — it’s not just about specs, it’s about how it feels in real life.
The price is £13,653 — which is actually a bit on the high side for this model, but it’s been well maintained and still runs smoothly.
If you're interested, I’m happy to show it around — just give me a call. I’ll be around for a bit of a chat or a quick drive.
(And yes, I know it’s not a super flashy car, but it’s been dependable, practical, and actually kind of nice to drive.)
