So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s been a solid daily driver, and honestly, I’m not sure how I’d have managed without it. It’s a 2017 Honda Jazz 1.3 SE, five-door hatchback with a petrol engine and CVT automatic. Not flashy, but it’s just about perfect for how I live — quiet, reliable, and doesn’t take much effort to drive.

The engine’s smooth, especially in traffic. No jolts or sudden shifts — just that calm, effortless feel you get when you’re not constantly fiddling with gears. And the fuel economy? Not amazing, but it’s not bad either. I’ve only done about 12,000 miles, so it’s been good for a while.

Inside, it’s surprisingly roomy for a small hatch. The Magic Seat system lets you switch the rear seats in a few different ways — from a flat bed for bikes or plants to a more upright position for taller people. The boot’s big too, and the doors open wide, which helps when loading stuff.

I’ve kept it fairly well maintained — all the usual bits are in good shape: aircon, cruise control, parking sensors, Bluetooth, USB, and even a bit of smart tech like lane departure warning and city brake assist. The seats are cloth, not leather, but they’re comfortable and clean.

It’s not the most expensive car on the road, but it’s one I’ve actually used every day for years. I’ve driven it through the day, to work, to the shops, even on a few weekend trips. It handles well, visibility’s good, and getting in and out is easy — especially with the higher seating position.

It’s in walney, Biggar now, and I’m just letting it go because I’m moving into a new place and don’t need it anymore. I’ve kept it well, low mileage, and it’s been a reliable companion.

I’ve had it for years, so I know it’s not perfect — but it’s been solid, and I’d probably still use it if I didn’t need to move.
