2021 Volkswagen ID3 Family Electric Auto – Side Damage, Starts and Drives, Repairable
Description
Hey there – I’m Shaun, and this is my mate Dave. We run a salvage lot in Atherstone, North Warwickshire, and this one’s a 2021 Volkswagen ID3 family electric. It’s a proper family car, so it’s got space and a bit of range – but it’s had side damage and was through an insurance claim. It starts and runs fine, so it’s not a dead car – I’ve tested it myself. It’ll turn over, drive around, and even go up a hill. That said, it’s not a pristine vehicle, and there’s no warranty on anything. The damage is visible, and we’ve got a full record of the claim.
If you’re thinking about buying it, please don’t just go on what’s in the ad. Come and see it in person. We’d really recommend you bring a mechanic or a vehicle engineer along to get a proper look at the damage. There’s no guarantee it’ll stay in good shape after you take it home – the repair work will need to be done properly.
We’re not responsible once it leaves our yard. That means if it breaks down or starts acting up after you drive it, that’s your issue. We’re just selling it as it is – no second-guessing, no hidden costs.
All vehicles here have been through insurance claims, so some might show clear on HPI at the time of check, but they’ll eventually get recorded. And yes – some have had claims more than once. You’ll need to do your own HPI check before you buy.
If you want to know the registration or VIN number, just give us a call.
We accept bank transfers, debit cards, and cash – cash comes with a 2% handling fee, so if you're doing that, just know it.
We’re open Monday to Saturday 9am–4pm, and Sunday by appointment.
If you’re serious about looking at it, call either Shaun or Dave. We’ll get you sorted.
And yeah – all part exchanges are welcome.
No price in the title, no location in the title – just the facts. This is what it is. And it’s in Atherstone now, so if you’re local, it’s not far.
Just don’t assume it’s perfect. It’s not. But it runs. And if you’re okay with that, it might be worth a look.
