These are the exact same binoculars I got when I bought them new from John Lewis – still in the original box, never opened. The case, neck strap, and lens caps are all there. I’ve been using them for bird watching lately, and they’re pretty solid. The specs match what’s on John Lewis: 8x42, green lenses, 7.2° angle of view, water-resistant up to 1m, and they weigh just under 600g. Dimensions are about 15x13x5.5cm. I’ve had them for a few months now and they’ve held up well in rain and wind. I’m moving to Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire, so I’m passing them on. They were originally £239 at John Lewis, but I’ve decided to part with them at £180 – just because I’ve got a new pair I’m testing now.
