Description

I’ve got this book — Contemporary Art in Eastern Europe — which is the third one in the ARTWORLD series. It’s a pretty solid look at how art in Eastern Europe has evolved from the 60s up to now. Covers places like Russia, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, and East Germany. It’s not just a collection of photos — it’s more of a story about how artists and curators saw the region changing over time. Published in 2010 by Black Dog Publishing, 240 pages, about 23cm tall. I picked it up a few years ago and it’s been sitting on my shelf, mostly for reference. It’s in good condition, just a bit worn at the edges. I’ve only read a few chapters, so it’s still fresh in my mind. I’m moving to bishop-auckland, County Durham, and thought I’d share it. It’s sitting in a box now, so it’s not in the house — but I’ll take it off my hands for £9 if you’re interested.
