Description

So, I’ve been keeping this old Pilote Aventura P716 parked in Dymock, Forest of Dean for a while now — it’s not exactly a flashy move, but it’s one of those motorhomes that just feels right when you’re actually in it.

It’s based on a Fiat chassis, has a 2.3-litre diesel engine, and a manual 6-speed gearbox. Only 29,757 miles on the clock, which I’ve always thought is a solid number for a vehicle that’s seen a lot of miles over the years. It weighs 350s kg, so no issues driving it on a standard UK licence — no need for special permits or anything.

The layout is classic, and honestly, it’s one of the most practical ones out there. Starting from the back, you’ve got a fixed French bed — plenty of space for two adults, and it lifts up to give you good storage. You can even access that storage from the outside, which is handy if you’re packing up or just want to keep things tidy.

Right next to that bed is a proper bathroom with a shower and toilet — they’re separated by a screen, and there’s a vanity mirror and storage inside. Nothing fancy, but it’s clean and functional.

Moving forward, the kitchen is solid — oven and grill combo, big sink, three gas hobs, and loads of cupboard space. I’ve cooked a fair few meals in here, so I know it’s not just for show.

Then there’s the dinette — big table, plenty of room for five people to sit and chat. The windows are wide open, so you get real views of wherever you’re camping. And above that, there’s an electric drop-down bed — turns into a comfortable double for guests.

Front end has two swivel seats and cab air conditioning — keeps it cool when it’s hot outside. Also has a grill, TV, central heating, solar system, alarm, and a hand washbasin. V5 document is in order too.

I’ve kept it running well over the years, and it’s never been left in a bad state. The price is £33,299 — it’s a fair bit, but I’m not trying to sell it at a bargain. It’s just been sitting, and now I’m looking for someone who’ll actually use it properly.

If you’re interested, or want to see more photos, just give me a call or email. No pressure, just honest talk about what it’s like to live in it.

P.S. I’ve been using it for years, and it’s one of those things that just works — not flashy, not overbuilt, but solid. If you’re into a reliable, practical motorhome with good space and real comfort, this might be your kind of ride.
