Description

So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver through the winter and into spring, and honestly, it’s held up well. I’ve just decided to move to Topsham, Exeter, and it’s time to hand it over.

It’s a 2021 Tiguan 1.5 TSI 150 Life with the DSG automatic, the Winter Pack, and a rear camera. Paint is deep black pearlescent, trim is cloth with anthracite/titanium black shooting star velour — not flashy, but solid. Wheels are 19-inch Victoria Falls alloys with Airstop tyres, and they’re still in good shape.

Inside, it’s got a full climate control system — three zones, with air filter, and the rear has touch controls. There’s a USB-C in the front, one in the back centre, and a 12V outlet in the boot. Cup holders, storage bins in every door, and even a luggage net and removable cover. The seats are quite roomy, with a 40:20:40 split rear bench that folds down easily. I’ve used it for long trips and family trips, so the space is actually useful.

Tech side: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via App-Connect, Bluetooth, and a radio with SD slot. You can even send and read SMS messages on the touchscreen. The dash has a big multi-colour display — shows speed, trip info, service reminders, and even outside temp. There’s a driver alert system, lane assist, and adaptive cruise control up to 130 mph. The parking brake auto-holds, and the ABS, ESP, and stability features are all working well.

Safety-wise, it’s packed — 5 airbags (front, side, knee), curtain airbags, front passenger airbag deactivation, seat pretensioners, and a rigid safety cell. The rear window has heating, and the wipers have a rain sensor and delay settings. All windows are heat-insulated, and the glass is laminated for safety.

I’ve driven it a lot, and it’s been reliable. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the boot floor is a bit worn, but it’s still usable. I didn’t need it for another car, so I’m just letting it go.

It’s been in good hands, and it’s not the flashiest car, but it’s comfortable, safe, and actually quite practical. The price is £17,361.90 — I know it’s not cheap, but I’m hoping someone finds it useful.

If you’re in Topsham or nearby, I’m happy to meet up or give a quick drive. Otherwise, I’ll just go with it.
