So, I’ve been keeping this car for a while now — it’s a 2008 E 220 Cdi, first owner from the factory, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s got a clean HPI record, no accidents, and I’ve never had to worry about rust — not even a hint of it. The front and rear arches are solid, it’s been properly maintained through the years, and I’ve kept it well looked after.

I had a proper big service recently — automatic gearbox flush included — and just replaced the drive belt and tensioner kit. It’s now at 114,500 miles, and I’ve got full service records going back to new, all from independent Mercedes specialists. The invoices add up to thousands, and every year it’s been serviced properly.

It drives really well — smooth, quiet, and responsive. All the bits are there: Bluetooth, air con, alloy wheels, electric windows and mirrors. Two keys, and it feels like a proper luxury car without the price tag.

It’s currently in deeside, Aberdeenshire, and I’m happy to take you out for a test drive anywhere along the west coast or highlands.
