So, I’ve got this 2014 Kia Carens – it’s a solid family car with a bit of everything. I bought it a few years ago and used it for everyday driving, and honestly, it’s held up well. It’s got a 1.6 petrol engine, manual gearbox, and the EcoDynamics badge – not flashy, but it’s efficient and quiet on the road.

Inside, it’s fairly well equipped. There’s a 6-speaker stereo with Bluetooth, CD/MP3, and voice recognition – I still use it to stream music while I’m driving. The seats are a bit of a mixed bag – second row slides and reclines, third row folds flat, and front passenger seat folds too. The second row has cupholders and underfloor storage, and there’s decent space for kids or gear.

I’ve kept it pretty tidy – all the power sockets are still working: two in the front centre console, one in the second row, and one in the boot. The boot has hooks and a load cover, and there’s a light in there too. The windows are electric, mirrors are power-adjustable and heated, and the seatbelts have reminders.

Safety’s been a focus – ABS, airbags (front, side, curtain), ESC, brake assist, and even an auto door unlock when there’s a crash. The alarm and immobiliser are still in place. I’ve had it checked for HPI, and it’s clean.

It’s currently parked in idle, Baildon – not too far from where I live, so I can still get it out if I need to. I’ve got the V5 and all the documentation.

I’m not selling it for a quick cash grab – I’m just getting rid of it because I’ve moved on to something else. It’s been well-maintained, and I’ve used it mostly for family trips and local commutes.

I’ve kept the price at £2,245.50 – that’s fair, given it’s not a high-end model, but it’s still a reliable car with a decent mix of features.
