Holdsworth Professional Road Bike 58cm Suntour Groupset
Description
This is my old road bike – the one I used to ride around Shepperton, Borough of Spelthorne when I was getting into cycling. It’s a Holdsworth Professional, 58cm frame, built on a solid Reynolds 532 – the kind of frame you’d find in classic road bikes from the 90s. The Suntour groupset is a full 10-speed friction gear setup, and the wheels are Mavic 700c, perfectly trued and still spinning smooth. The lugs are tight, the paint’s original with the decals still in place, and it’s got rack and mudguard mounts – perfect for someone who likes to ride with a bit of gear.Brakes are sharp, the shifting is responsive, and it feels really balanced. I kept it in great shape over the years, so it’s fully serviced and ready to go. I actually tested it myself and it’s been ridden regularly, not just stored.
I’ve been riding bikes for a while now, and I’ve always had a soft spot for these classic models – this one’s one of the few I’ve kept through the years. I’m not selling it to make quick cash, just passing it on to someone who’ll enjoy it.
If you’re interested, I’d be happy to meet up for a test ride or just show it over. No pressure, just a real bike, in real condition, from a real rider.
P.S. I don’t do fancy marketing – just a honest, no-nonsense bike that’s been ridden, cared for, and still works great.
(Price: £315 – just a note, not a headline.)
