2020 Toyota Corolla 1.8 Hybrid Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve had this 2020 Toyota Corolla for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver through a lot of seasons, and honestly, it’s held up really well. It’s a hybrid, so the 1.8-litre engine runs smoothly and gets about 63 mpg — which is great for a city car, especially when you're trying to keep fuel costs down.Inside, it’s pretty comfy — heated seats, which I’ve used in the winter, and the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration means I can keep my phone right there on the dash without fiddling. The reversing camera and parking sensors work really well too — I’ve had no issues with parking, even in tight spots.
Safety features are solid — adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and all that Toyota Safety Sense stuff. I’ve never had to worry about it being a bit too aggressive or sudden. Plus, it’s low CO2 and insurance group, so it’s cheaper to insure than most other cars in its class.
The boot’s generous — I’ve used it for shopping trips, weekend gear, and even a couple of camping trips. And it’s got a decent amount of interior space for a hatchback.
I bought it new, and it’s been well maintained — no major repairs, just regular servicing. The price is £10,121.40 (exclusive of VAT), which is a fair bit below what some of the newer models are asking for.
It’s currently based at Pebblehill Road, Betchworth — so if you’re local, I can drop it off or arrange a view. I’m not selling it just to get rid of it — I’m actually looking to upgrade and need a reliable, low-maintenance car that’s easy to drive.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or even show it over. No pressure, just a real car that’s actually worked well for me.
